We have 2 office locations.
The Unionville office is located at 1783 Farmington Ave, Unionville, CT 06085

The West Hartford office is located at 16 Brace Road, Floor 3, West Hartford, CT 06107

First session includes an assessment where we will review what you would like to work on in therapy, go over your medical history and identify specific goals and strategies to reach these goals (creating a treatment plan)

We create an individualized treatment plan together that is based on your goals and specific ways to measure these goals, we then will review this plan and progress throughout treatment

Emilie- Anthem, United, Husky, Cigna and self-pay

Taylor- Anthem, United, Husky, Cigna and self-pay

Sarah- Aetna, United, Husky, Cigna and self-pay

Yes! We provide telemed through a HIPPA compliant telemedicine platform, in person therapy is also an option

EMDR works best in the place you feel most comfortable, whether that be through your home on telemedicine or in person. We have a HIPPA compliant and EMDR-specific telemedicine platform we use that yields results just as much as in person

Most sessions last for 45-50 minutes and the frequency of them is based on your own treatment goals and schedule. We will recommend a frequency after the initial session, but know that frequency may increase or reduce throughout treatment based on what is happening at that time of your life and how much support you may benefit from. Length of therapy is also individualized and based on your treatment plan and we can work together to identify if you have a goal related to length of treatment throughout treatment together

Emilie- EMDR/trauma

Taylor- EMDR/trauma/depression

Sarah- Life transitions, young adults, trauma (domestic violence/relationship issues) and chronic illness

Relationship matters most and we recommend attending at least three sessions to see if we are a good match for each other. Above all else, you should feel you are in a trusted and emotionally safe place when working with your therapist and that their theoretical perspectives match what you are looking for

We require 24 hours notice of cancelation (outside of emergencies) for cancelations, anything outside of that window does include a cancelation fee

As a practice we believe relationship and trust matters more than anything else. We come from the perspective that no therapy intervention will be effective if you don’t feel trusted and cared for. As a practice, we prioritize individualized care with the idea that you are your own expert. Each clinician has their own clinical background and experience, see the team page to read about their specific theoretical approach/interventions used.
